Getting Acquainted
We are
pleased and honored that you will be or have already joined us for
worship at College Avenue Church of Christ. When you visit us,
please stop by our Welcome Center in the Family Life Center.
It contains useful information for our church family as well as sign
up sheets that offer a variety of ways to serve and opportunities
for growth. Following are some frequently asked questions
asked by our visitors.
What is College Avenue all about?
Our mission at College Avenue is to truly
be a church "of Christ," to be genuinely undenominational, and to be
a caring spiritual family. Please click

What can College Avenue offer my
family?
Here at College
Avenue, we strive to meet the needs of every member of the family. We
accomplish this goal by offering programs and classes that are relevant
to all ages. For a brief explanation of the various
programs that can directly benefit your family and bring each member
closer to God, click here.
Where are you located?
We are located at 1817 North College
Avenue, El Dorado, Arkansas. To see a map or get directions,

What
do you have for babies and young children during worship services?
There is an attended nursery in the main
building for children up to two years old. You may take you
children there and they will be lovingly cared for. Parents
will be given a pager so you may be silently paged if your child
needs your attention.
There are children's work sheets available on the table directly
behind the Welcome Center. This is a great way to keep young
children occupied during the worship service while teaching them
basic Bible lessons.
Where are worship services held?
Worship service is held in the Family Life
Center and begins at 10:00 a.m. on Sundays. However, we would
love for you to join us for our Bible classes which begin at 9:00
a.m. Most classes are in the main building. Classes are
available for all ages. To find out what adult classes we are

On Sunday nights at 6:00 p.m., we meet in small groups (called
growth groups) in members' homes.
We also have a growth group that meets at the church building.
During the summer months, we all meet at the church building for
worship.
On Wednesdays, we start in the auditorium of the main building with
a short devotional at 7:00 p.m., then head to Bible classes.
