Someone once said that if you want something done, find someone that’s
busy. Tina Newsom is one such person. She lives a busy life of service
to others and is constantly putting the needs of others above her own.
She does not seek credit but diligently fills gaps and sees to it that
everything runs smoothly.
Tina is actively involved in our Women’s ministry, our Tweenager
program, our Vacation Bible School, is an active member of the youth
council, serves as a youth chaperone, hosts a Growth Group in her home,
coordinates our crafts at Camp Kurios, and is currently staffing three
separate nurseries.
In addition to that, she serves as the PTA president at our adopted
school, Northwest Elementary. She has been instrumental in the program
that sent shoe boxes overseas filled with school supplies and toys.
She has done all of this while being a great helpmate to her husband
Rob, who serves as one of our deacons, and a great mom to Tyler and
Lacey. And to top it all off she does it with a smile on her face and a
contagious laugh.
